wall when you pull on it later. After this, cut or break approx.

If you are looking to mount a projector without drilling there are a few different ways to do it. You can either use adhesive mounts or magnetic mounts. Adhesive MountAdhesive mounts offer the easiest way to mount your projector, but it will require some DIY skills if you're not familiar with mounting things on the wall. They're also not as secure as magnetic mounts, so they may move more easily or worse fall off completely if bumped into or pulled on too hard.Adhesive mounts are made of something that is flexible and grippy enough to stick to surfaces like paint, drywall, and plasterboard. You can also use them to mount your projector to the wall if it's not heavy enough to require a wall-bracket.There are specialty adhesive mounts for projectors, but any mounting tape or glue will work. I like Gorilla Glue from 3M because it offers the most flexibility and availability. You may find other things that work better, though. I recommend you getting some before you start so you can test it out to see how well it sticks and holds up to handling of your projector, as well as how well it works with the small sizes and shapes projectors come in these days. For this DIY project, I used a section of a ratchet strap from my toolbox. The material is very flexible, it's easy to use, and it holds up well. There are other types of adhesives for different surfaces and situations. Use adhesive you know will stick to the surface you're using it on.

Mounting Projector to Wall Marks: Before sticking your mount to the wall make sure your projector should fit in its bulky case along with all cables and accessories needed for operation. How tightly you mount depends on how well the mount grips the surface where it's stuck on.Decide on a spot on the wall to mount your projector. It should be as close to eye level as possible, with good light and line of sight to the screen or window you will be projecting onto. You'll need an electrical outlet nearby to plug in your projector. Make sure you can access it without having to move anything around too much after putting the mount on the wall so you don't have any wires hanging down when you turn it on.If you have large hands or have trouble holding small things, use a small piece of tape at each mark and stick your projectors case handle into it while holding it upside down.Once you have found a spot and decided on a place to put your mount, use a level to make sure the surface is perfectly flat and mark the place you are going to put it.

Determine the Length of Mounting Strap: Use a tape measure and find how far apart your marks are. You want to be able to center your projector in between them with about 3/4″ of space on each side. Divide thickness of projector by 2, then add 1/8″ for play—you want the mount to be tight enough that it's not going anywhere but loose enough that it will not rip off paint or plaster from the
